Officer shoots and kills suspect in La Porte

LA PORTE, Texas (KTRK) -- The Texas Rangers are investigating after a deadly officer-involved shooting in La Porte.

Police said a suspect was shot and killed by a La Porte officer on Glenview Drive, between Farrington and Glenmeadows.

We do not know what the suspect is accused of or why police initially began pursuing him or her.
