Houston ISD to fill District III vacancy after death of Manuel Rodriguez

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Officials with Houston ISD says the district expects to fill the District III vacancy within the coming days.

Qualified candidates that live within District III should submit a resume and letter of interest to HISD no later than Friday.

HISD plans to fill the spot before August 17.
