Hundreds of 'plungers' raised more than $45,000 in the 5th Annual Polar Plunge.

This year's event was highlighted by a costume contest, with the Creature from the Black Lagoon (a crowd favorite) taking the Bronze Plunger honors. The cast and crew from Gilligan's Island was awarded the Silver Plunger, and very large student group that included most all of the favorite Dr. Suess characters took the top prize, the Golden Plunger.
