HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A 15-year-old was shot and killed Monday night in the Alief area, according to police.

Police say the teen was shot during an apparent drug deal.

"We believe it was a narcotics transaction with regard to that. Don't want to (stereotype) the situation, but it did not go well," said Detective C. Lamont with HPD Homicide.
