Video shows 2 men shoot employee after robbing Family Dollar

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Houston police need your help identifying violent robbers caught on surveillance video.

The two gunmen went into the Family Dollar on Collingsworth off the Eastex Freeway last Thursday.

They forced customers and employees to the ground at gunpoint and forced an employee to open the registers.

Police say the men also shot an employee in the leg after getting the money from the register.

The suspects got away with an unknown amount of cash.

Anyone who recognizes the men is urged to call the police.
