'Big Texas Party' celebrates Houston and the Super Bowl

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Super Week continued with a Texas-sized soiree.

CultureMap, ESPN Radio, and SB Nation presented "The Big Texas Party" at Silver Street Studios.

The event was a celebration of Houston with all of the food, drink, and hospitality that our city is known for.

The party started with a red carpet arrival of big-name celebrities and several professional athletes, both past and present.

A portion of proceeds from The Big Texas Party will benefit The Center, a nonprofit dedicated to promoting the pursuit of choice, growth, and personal independence for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
