Fog delaying multiple ships in Galveston area

GALVESTON, TX -- Several vessels -- including multiple cruise ships -- have been delayed due to thick sea fog off the coast of Galveston.

Yesterday, the Carnival Breeze and Liberty departed one day late due to reduced visibility.

Online tracking maps show dozens of ships waiting outside Galveston.

Cameras show heavy fog in the area for the third straight day.

Forecasters say another dense-fog advisory is in effect.
