Wreaths will be laid on Houston military memorials today

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Tens of thousands of volunteers will lay 1,200,000 wreaths at military memorials and grave sites across the country Saturday.

It's part of the "Wreaths Across America" initiative.

Organizers say they are not decorating graves but honoring those that served.

And Saturday the organization will be laying wreaths at sites across the Houston area.
