Christmas lights shine bright in Dayton
Amazing holiday light display at a home in Dayton.

DAYTON, TX (KTRK) -- If you head about 50 miles north on FM 1960, you will eventually hit the small town of Dayton.

Dayton is home to about 8,000 residents and has a rich history that dates back to the mid 1800's. But a neat attraction in the area this time of year is not what happens during the day, but at night.

Paul Wright and his family have taken the Christmas light challenge and created a Christmas wonderland that you have to see to believe.

Wright started with a small display 17 years ago and today, he has more than 100,000 lights, and 30,000 of those are synchronized to music.

Around town, the Wright's are known as the "Christmas people," and they welcome anyone and everyone to come out and check out their amazing Christmas wonderland.
