FRIENDSWOOD, TX -- Residents and commuters in the Friendswood area may notice a high police presence this morning, as officers try to track down burglary suspects.

Most of the activity is centered in the 400 block of E. Parkwood Avenue. A tracking dog is on the scene searching the area of FM528 along the banks of Clear Creek. At this time, police do not have a description of the suspects but believe two or three people are hiding out in the area.

The burglary was discovered at about 5:15am and police arrested one suspect. Two or three suspects slipped away, but police think they're in the area on foot. Anyone who sees anything suspicious in the area is asked to contact police immediately.
