Vandals clogged sinks, damaged computer lab at Tomball High School

TOMBALL, TX (KTRK) -- Police in Tomball are hoping to catch whoever is responsible for vandalizing Tomball High School over the weekend.

Police say the vandals broke in and vandalized computers in the computer lab. They also caused damage in the administrative offices.

And before they left, they clogged the sinks and left the water running, flooding the place, police say. The damage is believed to be more than $40,000.

Tomball High School released the following statement: "In the early morning hours of Saturday, Sept. 17, 2016, suspects broke into Tomball High School. The suspects vandalized a classroom and some administrative offices. There was also some water damage in the school. It is unfortunate these individuals broke into Tomball High School, but this incident has not impacted daily operations and classes continue as usual. We are working with the Tomball Police Department as they conduct an investigation. Anyone with information regarding this incident should contact the Tomball Police Department."

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of $5,000 for any information leading to an arrest in the case.
