LONDON (KTRK) -- If you're in the market for a new job and have ever wanted to live at Buckingham Palace, now may be your chance. The Royal Household of England has a job opening for a live-in housekeeping assistant. That means that you and Queen Elizabeth will share a mailing address.

The residency requirement isn't the only perk of the job. As the online job description notes, "this is no standard housekeeping role." Responsibilities include: cleaning and caring for "items from carpets and furniture to historic vases and irreplaceable paintings."

The housekeeper will also be on hand to "take care of guests and support special events."

So how can you get the job? Well, experience in housekeeping is "by no means essential," but you've got to be an excellent team worker, pay keen attention to detail, have excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt effectively to any occasion.

The position does include all housing and meals, which means the salary isn't amazing. The live-in housekeeping assistant will earn about $22,000 a year according to the job listing, plus a 15% employer contribution to a pension plan and benefits.

The deadline to apply for the job is September 18. However, if you're not interested in housekeeping, The Royal Household currently has four additional openings, including a groundsperson.
