Katy Fwy inbound at Greenhouse slow due to car fire

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A vehicle fire is causing delays on the Katy Freeway inbound at Greenhouse Road.

The car has two right lanes and the center lanes blocked off as emergency crews work to clear the scene.

Heavy black smoke could be seen rising from the freeway.

The good news is everyone was able to get out safely, and there are no injuries.

Be aware that travel on the inbound lanes may be slow as people stop to check out the fire.
