5-year-old attacked by goose speaks since photos went viral

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- 5-year-old Summer Gidden reinacted the attack as she remembers it.

"A little duckling was injured, and we were following him," said Summer Gidden. "Then Isaac ran and did not pick me up. And so the duck attacked me first. It got its foot stuck in my hair and I went face down."

One neighbor kept taking pictures while another one rescued Summer.

Summer's big sister, Stevie, said the geese typically build a nest in their neighborhood and come back this time of year.

Summer was not injured.

"No scratches or bruises," Summer said.
