Restaurants offer parking solutions for Astros fans

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- From expensive parking lots to crowded roads, driving to the ballgame, may have you "pitching" a fit, before the first pitch is even thrown. Now, several local restaurants are offering a way to get to Minute Maid Park, free of charge.

B&B Butchers is offering patrons the chance to park in the restaurant parking lot, and take a free shuttle to and from Minute Maid Park.

"Parking downtown is difficult, it gets very expensive, we are trying to alleviate the stress of parking, the stress of the traffic, and make the overall game experience a better one," said General Manager, Ben Berg. "I talk about hospitality, it's just one of those extra things we can provide for our guests."

Diners just need to make a reservation in advance, and enjoy dinner or drinks.

"I think this is a wonderful wonderful way to go to the ballgame," said Astros fan, Bob Ruggeri.

The restaurant is also offering dressed up ballpark-themed food specials, including a wagyu beef hot dog and bacon chocolate caramel popcorn.

B&B Butchers isn't the only place to hitch a ride. Ninfa's on Navigation offers free parking and a free ride to and from Minute Maid during all Astros home games.

If you are coming in from a little father out, Rally Bus works like Uber for larger crowds. It can take you to the game from areas such as Baytown, Sugar Land, and the Woodlands.

So don't let traffic throw you a curveball - these rides will get you there minus the pains of parking.
