Man dies after driving into Galleria-area pool

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A man is dead after driving into a pool in at a Galleria area home yesterday.

It happened at 1115 Potomac at around 1:40pm. According to police, the victim was in a black Tesla that was in the garage of a home at 1113 Potomac. Police say the vehicle drove through the garage and onto the neighbor's property and into the neighbor's pool.

A female passenger who was in the vehicle was able to get out, but the driver did not and died.

An investigation is underway.
