HOUSTON (KTRK) -- If you were watching the American Music Awards on ABC-13 you saw Justin Bieber close out the show.
He was in Houston just a few days ago to promote his new album. After making headlines for everything but his music, Bieber told fans he's changing his ways.
Some people wrote him off thought his bad boy behavior and headline grabbing stories with the Paparazzi sealed his fate among fans. Now, singer Justin Bieber seems he's 'sorry' and that's not just the name of his new hit song.
"I think he's working on it. He's trying to make a really big comeback and doing a really good job of it," said fan Frankie Granato.
A local group of young ladies just went to see Bieber at the Toyota Center Thursday night where the star answered fan questions. He revealed making mistakes and revealed that he is rebuilding his reputation.
"His songs I feel like are more real now because a lot of them are about his problems," said fan Sarah Katecone.
Plus, while on stage in Houston, the Beebs, performed acoustically with a guitar, distancing himself from the bubblegum hit songs that landed him worldwide fame after he was discovered by mentor Usher.
"I personally didn't listen to his music a while ago, but now I really enjoy his new album," said fan Channing Fatjo.
More proof, that Justin is making a comeback. His new songs are not recorded to just generate a hit. They're more personal and grown up.
"He doesn't sound like a girl anymore," said fan Sophie Mireskandari.
The ladies claim even 'guys' admit to liking his music nowadays.
"They used to be afraid to say they like him, but he is releasing some good songs," said Granato.
There's also this bold prediction among fans -- that Justin 'is' and 'will be' very much a part of their generation.
"It's hard not to like him," said Fatjo.
