Dozens of kids get new forever homes
Dozens of children up for adoptions got their forever families on Friday.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Dozens of children will now have new families to be thankful for this Thanksgiving.

CPS hosted a mass adoption celebration Friday, where more than 40 kids became official members of their new families. But it wasn't just for small children. One 16-year-old has waited years to finally be a part of her forever family.

"It means a lot for me because I have a beautiful family and they love me and they are just willing to do anything for me and become my new parents," said Bryanna Osborn.

November is National Adoption Awareness Month. There are still more than 1,200 kids in the greater Houston area in need of families.
