Astros SS Carlos Correa named AL Rookie of the Year

Houston Astros shortstop Carlos Correa has been named the American League Rookie of the Year.

Correa finished with 17 first place votes and 13 second place votes. Cleveland's Francisco Lindor came in second with 13 first place votes and 14 second.

In 99 games this season, Correa, 21, hit .279 with 22 home runs and 68 RBIs.
