Neighbor shoots, kills alleged intruder in north Harris County

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A neighbor grabbed a gun to protect his subdivision in north Harris County last night, according to authorities.

Harris County Sheriff's deputies say a group of men tried to break into a home on Auronia near Park Talon last night. That's when investigators say that neighbor shot and killed one of the men.

The case is still under investigation.

There's still no word on the other suspects.
