Video appears to show Stratford HS officer push student during fight

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A Houston school police officer is seen knocking a student to the ground in new video taken during a fight between two students.

The fight happened at Stratford High School where two students have been arrested in that incident.

Cell phone video shows the Spring Branch ISD police officer handcuffing one student. He then tries to detain the second student, but the situation escalates.

The officer then appears to push the student to the ground.

In a letter to parents, Stratford High School's principal says no one else was at risk when the two students got into the fight that escalated as police and staff got involved.
