Go Coogs! iPhone's Siri throws support behind UH Cougars

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- When iPhone users across the country ask Siri to name her favorite college football team, she says she is a Houston fan.

University of Houston students are excited to have Siri rooting on their team.

"Siri, what is your favorite college football team," Paige Wiemer said into her iPhone.

Siri responded, "Well, I always like to root for the underdog, so I guess that makes me a Houston fan right now."

Siri has the University of Houston football team ranked as number 25.

"Nice! Go, Cougs," One student said. "They don't sound like the underdog. They're undefeated."

UH is 8-0 this season. The Cougars will take on the Cincinnati Bearcats on Saturday.
