Wreck shuts down several lanes of Katy Freeway outbound at Gessner

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- There's a big traffic alert on the west side of town you'll want to avoid.

An accident involving two vehicles is blocking several lanes of the Katy Freeway outbound at Gessner.

At this point, we don't know how the accident happened or if there were any injuries. We'll post any new information as we get it.
