Good Samaritan recounts rescue
Bryan Taylor and his wife helped rescue a driver from his overturned big rig

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Two Good Samaritans say they helped rescue a mail truck driver after his truck overturned on the East Freeway feeder road at Federal Road.

Bryan Taylor, and his wife, Petire, saw the truck flipped on its side, leaking fuel after falling from I-10.

Taylor says when the disoriented driver crawled out of the cab, he caught the driver in his arms before he collapsed. Petire, a nurse, stayed with the truck driver until EMTs arrived.

The driver is expected to be OK. Taylor says the driver told him he hit a puddle, hydroplaned and left the road.
