HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A man was injured in a possible road rage shooting in northwest Harris County on Saturday.

The shooting happened around 3:30 p.m. on Saturday afternoon on Highway 6 between West Road and Huffmeister.

Deputies said a man in a car shot at another car three times. Three people were in the car that was shot at, said HCSO.

One of the bullets hit the driver of the other car in his thigh, and he pulled into a nearby gas station to call for help, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.

Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said the injured driver was transported to a hospital downtown where he is expected to be all right.

Investigators continue to search for the suspect. They described him as a Black man who drove a gray Honda.
