1 shot in robbery at SW Houston game room

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- One person was shot during an apparent robbery at a southwest Houston game room on Saturday afternoon.

The shooting happened just before 3 p.m. in the 6600 block of West Sam Houston Parkway South.

Officers said the suspects demanded customers cell phones and money from employees.

When a patron fought back, officers said a suspect shot him in the stomach.

According to police, the victim was taken to a hospital for medical treatment and is in stable condition.

The suspects took off with hundreds of dollars in cash.

Investigators have only described the suspects as two young males.
