1 person shot, 1 injured after violent home invasion in north Harris Co.

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Two people were hurt in a home invasion in north Harris County, according to authorities.

Harris County Sheriff's Office responded to a home on Hollyvalle near Dogwood Tree at 1 a.m.

Deputies told Eyewitness News that one person had been shot in the stomach and another person was hit with a gun.

Both victims were transported to the hospital.

The victim is suspected to survive.
