Woman dragged by car after suspect takes off with purse in SW Houston

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Houston police are hoping surveillance video showing a purse snatching can help find the person who did it.

The video of is out of southwest Houston at an apartment complex on Gasmer near Chimney Rock on Sept. 9.

The purse snatcher grabbed the woman's purse. She tried to get it back and hung on to the car, but she was dragged by the white Hyundai several feet before she let go.
