Hawaii is currently bracing for the arrivals of Hurricane Iselle and Julio. Hurricane Iselle could pass through the islands as early as Thursday, and Julio is expected to make landfall within the next few days. Weather officials are warning, the entire state to prepare for flash flooding, and residents have been rushing to stock up on essential food and survival items.

While several hurricanes have passed near Hawaii, only three have actually made landfall on the islands since 1950. Check out the gallery and list below to see other major hurricanes that have plunged through the state.

1992, Hurricane Iniki: This was the most devastating hurricane to ever strike Hawaii. The storm caused over $1.8 billion in damages, 1,400 destroyed homes and resulted in six deaths.
