SEABROOK, TX (KTRK) -- Several condos in Seabrook have flooded garages after the rain and winds brought by Tropical Storm Bill.

The Seabreeze condominiums located on Todville Road are near Clear Creek.

Most homeowners moved their cars and trucks to higher ground before the rain started. One resident we talked with says they mostly lost furniture.

Seabrook residents say they haven't seen the surf this high in quite some time.

There are mixed opinions about it getting this bad at this location. One resident said it was almost this bad about a year ago. Another resident said she hadn't seen it like this since Hurricane Ike. What they all agree on is how quickly it happened. They say that despite this being a high tide area prone to flooding, this tide came in remarkably fast.

Just down the road, water at the Kemah Boardwalk is almost at level with the docks.

In Clear Lake, the roof of a bank's drive-thru collapsed when it could no longer support the weight of the water sitting on top of it. No one was injured in the incident.
