Scientists at the University of Sussex say watching videos of people in icy water caused viewers to feel cold as well. Humans mimic each other to create an internal psychological state to predict others' thoughts, feelings and behavior, AccuWeather says.

University of Sussex's research shows that humans are vulnerable to temperature contagion. Or in simpler terms, seeing a cold person can make you cold as well.
