Chief meteorologist Tim Heller has the latest forecast.

Moisture is starting to blow back into southeast Texas. As a result temperatures won't be nearly as cool, according to Chief Meteorologist Tim Heller. The moisture will continue to increase Thursday, meaning more humidity and clouds for the Houston area.

Scattered thunderstorms are possible Friday as a quick moving disturbance moves across Texas. There could also be a few showers Saturday. But Sunday looks to be the stormiest day, with periods of heavy rain possible. Tim says 1-3" of rain is possible in most of the Houston area.

Once winds turn in from the north late Sunday, temperatures will cool off again with pleasant weather returning next week.
