Facebook activates safety check feature for Hurricane Harvey

TEXAS (KTRK) -- Facebook activated its safety check feature for those in the path of Hurricane Harvey.

The feature allows people in the affected area to let friends know they are safe during one of the worst storms Texas has seen in years.
