DPS: Icy roads to blame for deadly accident in Montgomery County

The Texas Department of Safety is blaming icy roads for a deadly accident on Highway 105 near Cut and Shoot in Montgomery County.

Officials say a pickup truck hit a patch of ice and skidded on the road around 6 p.m. Tuesday night.

The truck was hit by an SUV coming from the other direction. The SUV driver had minor injuries.

The driver of the pickup truck died.
