Chief Meteorologist Tim Heller has the lastest forecast.

Temperatures will cool off quickly again tonight, dropping into the low 50s inside the Beltway by early Wednesday morning. It'll be even cooler north of the city and slightly warmer closer to the coast.

Despite the cool morning, we'll warm up fast Wednesday afternoon. Chief Meteorologist Tim Heller says high temperatures will be back in the low 80s, which is near normal for this time of year. Expect a mostly sunny sky with low humidity.

Moisture returns on Thursday with a few showers possible Friday and Saturday. The next front will move through Sunday, which could spark additional heavy storms. Tim says the rain could be heavy at times with 1-3" of rain possible.
