One day left to to take advantage of cheap airfare from Southwest Airlines

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Southwest Airlines is bringing out some travel deals for a quick 72-hour sale.

The sale started yesterday and goes through tomorrow. Southwest is selling seats for $49, $99, $129 and $149 one-way. The price you pay depends on the distance you'll be flying.

The sale covers travel from August 25 to December 16 and some holiday dates are blacked out.

Some deals from Houston include Hobby to Dallas or New Orleans for $49. Chicago, Denver or New York through Newark is $99. To get to Vegas and Los Angeles, it's $129 one way.
