Dallas Love Field is having issues following a planned power outage.

DALLAS -- A planned power outage at Dallas Love Field led to an unexpected loss of electricity for about two hours and some flight delays until the system was restored.

Airport spokesman Justin Snasel says power was restored Sunday morning at city-owned Love Field.

Snasel says the scheduled overnight outage was to install equipment and add redundancy and future capacity. He says crews had trouble rebooting some critical equipment.

An official with Dallas-based Southwest Airlines says about two dozen flights were affected at the carrier's main hub. Chris Mainz says flights were operating on time after power issues were resolved by about 6 a.m. Sunday.
