One San Diego couple proved their true Disney love by visiting three Disney parks all on Valentine's Day.

Michael and Diane Greening celebrated their first wedding anniversary at Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif. Every year since, they have returned to Disneyland for their anniversary. But with their 17th anniversary on January 17 of this year, the couple couldn't decide on whether to visit Tokyo Disneyland or Walt Disney World. That's when they came up with a truly crazy idea: visiting three Disney parks in one day.

"It's completely insane, and that's why we did it," Michael Greening, 49, told the New York Daily News.

The three-park trip could only be possible if they visited Magic Kingdom in Orlando on a day when the park was open until midnight. That ruled out their actual anniversary day of January 17, so the couple set on Valentine's Day when the park was open late for their global Disney journey.

The Greenings started their Tokyo Disneyland at 9:50 a.m. on Saturday. They took a picture in front of the Cinderella Castle and then caught a 10-hour flight to Los Angeles.

Their flight was late by an hour, but the couple managed to get to Disneyland just after noon. They took another picture in front of the Cinderella Castle, and then head to John Wayne Airport in Orange County for their trip to Orlando, according to the New York Daily News.

Unfortunately, the couple missed their trip to Orlando, but a U.S. Airways attendant booked the Greenings on another flight, allowing the couple to make up for 30 minutes of lost time. With the clock racing against them, the couple managed to get into the Magic Kingdom at 11:40 p.m., right before their midnight deadline.

The total trip was just under 28 hours long, but since Tokyo is 14 hours behind Florida, they still technically managed to visit all three parks on Valentine's Day.

"The best thing was doing it with my wife and best friend," Michael Greening told the New York Daily News. "Having her by my side for the whole thing made it special."
