ROCKY MOUNT, NC -- Northbound I-95 was closed near Exit 132, close to Rocky Mount, for hours Saturday because of a crash that dumped cabbage all over the highway.

It happened around 10:30 a.m.

A truck hauling the cabbage turned on its side and the trailer split open.

Workers had to get the truck upright and then clean up the mess before the interstate could be reopened. Traffic is expected to be impacted through 4 p.m.

Northbound traffic should use Exit 127, NC-97 and proceed north on NC-97 to US-301 Bypass; Proceed north on US-301 Bypass to US-64; Proceed west on US-64 to re-access I-95 North.
