Road closures you'll want to know about this weekend

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Check out some of the closures headed your way this weekend.

Heading to the Houston Texans Pre-Season game on Saturday? Watch out for lane closures in both directions of the 610 South Loop. Two lanes will be blocked off both Eastbound and Westbound between Scott Street and Fannin. The closure lasts from Friday at 9PM until Sunday at 5PM. Scott & Fannin entrances are also closed. If you are traveling to the game, use SH-288 to Holly Hall as an alternate route, but plan for extra delays.

All inbound lanes of the Westpark Tollway will be shut down from FM-1464 to Cook Road, starting on Saturday at 10PM until Monday at 5AM. Additionally, the Eldridge Eastbound entrance ramp will also be shut down. While the lanes are closed, crews will be adding striping and signs in preparation of the opening of the new Cook Road exit.

Expect moderate delays on US-290 inbound near the Beltway. Two eastbound lanes will be blocked between Little York and FM-529, from Friday at 9PM until Monday at 5AM. Use the feeder road as an alternate.
