Man killed in hit and run on Katy Freeway after running out of gas

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Houston police are looking for the driver that struck and killed a man on the Katy Freeway near Greenhouse overnight.

Police say a man ran out of gas and started pushing his vehicle off the freeway. He was then struck and killed by another vehicle.

There is no description on the driver who did not stop.
