PASADENA, TX (KTRK) -- A driver who crashed his pickup into a home in Pasadena is now facing charges.

Oscar Munez Moreno, 28, is charged with accident involving injury, intoxicated assault with a vehicle and DWI. He is being held without bond.

Police say Moreno's truck was on Pauline near Commander when it sideswiped a car going the other way around 1am.

The car flipped and the truck went into a home. Neighbors say they heard the crash, and then saw lights.

Neighbor Serina Mendez said, "Me and my husband ran outside to see what was going on and there was a lady she was screaming for help."

The woman in the flipped car was pulled out by first responders. She was taken to the hospital to be checked out, but should be fine.

The driver of the truck fled, but was caught an hour later. He is charged with failure to stop and render aid and could also be charged with DWI.

Neighbors say several homes on the block have been hit by cars before.
