Business 1960 in Humble to see a year of improvements

HUMBLE, TX -- A $13 million project is underway on Business FM 1960 in the Humble area that will be completed by the fall of 2015.

"This is a concrete pavement overlay and access management project," Danny Perez, a spokesperson for the Texas Department of Transportation said. "This includes milling the existing roadway and overlaying it, pavement widening, sidewalks, some drainage and pavement markings."

The project is about 3.9 miles long and focuses on the stretch between Lee Road and FM 1960.
