1 dead in fiery big rig accident on I-10 at Dell Dale

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- One person died in a massive big rig accident that blocked all mainlanes of I-10 East at Dell Dale. As the accident burned on Wednesday afternoon, thick black smoke filled the sky for miles.

Westbound traffic is flowing again, but motorists should expect delays as they pass the scene of the accident. Eastbound lanes remain closed.
