18-wheeler dangles off Grand Parkway near Hwy 290

CYPRESS, Texas (KTRK) -- An 18-wheeler truck was dangling off Grand Parkway near Highway 290 on Tuesday morning.

The incident happened on the Grand Parkway southbound just south of the 290.

SkyEye13 captured the cab dangling over an embankment, about 16 feet high. The truck's trailer appeared to keep the cab from falling below.

It's not known what led the semi to drive off the roadway. There were no injuries reported.

A heavy duty wrecker was called to the scene to pull the truck and keep it from tipping over.
