Constable: Teen forced into prostitution, may be more victims
Constable says a teen was forced into prostitution and there may be more victims.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Investigators want to hear from you if you know anything about additional victims of three people arrested in connection with a sex trafficking case which targeted a teenage girl.

They were able to rescue the 17-year-old on Thanksgiving day. She'd been held with a gun to her head in a room at the Express Inn Motel in the 16600 block of the North Freeway.

"She was being forced into it," said Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman.

He says the teen disappeared from her home in La Grange about a month ago. She was considered a runaway until Thursday when the alleged captors left her inside the motel room after posting an ad on backpage.com offering her services.

Herman says after her captors left, the girl called her grandmother from inside the room. The grandmother alerted authorities.

"They obviously manipulated her and groomed her to get her down to the Houston area and then it turned into this vicious cycle of prostitution," said Herman.

When the suspects returned to the motel, they were arrested. Jaimian Sims, Kendra Kimball and Tevin Brown are each is charged with some role in forcing the girl to have sex for money. In court, prosecutors called their operation a "prostitution ring."

If you recognize any of the three accused or know anything about any other cases where someone was forced to have sex for money, you can contact the Precinct 4 Constable's Office at (281)376-3472.

The teen is physically OK and is now back with her family.
