New Uber 'Beacon' makes finding your ride easier
Uber's new colorful Beacon makes connecting with your driver easier.

Finding your Uber on a dark night can be a challenge, but the ride share company is hoping a new tool will make locating your ride easier.

The device is called the "Beacon," and can be found on an Uber vehicle's windshield.

Customers can look for their driver by selecting a color on the Uber app.

The Beacon will glow accordingly, making it easier to connect with your driver.

For now, the feature is only in New York, Chicago and San Francisco.
