Suspects arrested with toy gun and drugs after chase

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Two suspects are in custody after a police chase across southwest Houston.

The chase began near Kirby Drive. The driver then sped down the Southwest Freeway.

The suspects were arrested near West Bellfort Avenue and Fondren Road.

Authorities say the chase started with narcotics surveillance when the two suspects fled.

The suspect's stolen vehicle struck other cars, but no major injuries were reported.

Police recovered a toy gun from the car and a large amount of narcotics.
