HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- What does it mean to be a Houston Cougar?

For students at the University of Houston, being a Coog is much more than attending classes -- it's a way of life.

"Being a Cougar is basically us being one. A lot of people know UH as being a commuter school, but that doesn't separate us all," a student told ABC13. "We're all from different parts of Houston, but when it comes to games, when it comes to being a Cougar, we're all one body."

Although UH came up short against the Texas Tech Red Raiders, Saturday's game was another chance for students, faculty and alumni to bond, cheer and support their Cougars.
