College student hits incredible half-court shot to win $10,000 in tuition

He banked it off the glass, and then he took that shot to the bank.

Gustavo Angel Tamayo of Bryan College in Tennessee hit a lay-up, a free throw, a three-pointer and a half-court shot before the buzzer to win $10,000 toward tuition Monday.

And the crowd, predictably, went wild.

Tamayo, who plays soccer for the school, received words of congratulations from across the Bryan College athletics department, including baseball coach Taylor Hasty, who uploaded the moment to YouTube.

At the private Christian school, $10,000 is not quite a semester's worth of tuition, according to the Bryan College website.

With that performance, though, there's an added bonus: bragging rights.
